I've gotten so many emails lately from family members of lesbians who are raising kids. Literally, I haven't gotten a single email, ever, from someone saying, "I know a lesbian couple raising a kid and I think it's wonderful." I see those comments posted in the comments section of online articles at bullshit sites like WaPo or HuffPo. Maybe they're sock puppets, maybe they're real. I have met a few people in real life who say they know lesbians who are doing an "okay" job with the kids, but even these folks acknowledge the basic overall trend:
